@commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese If I start my computer (from sleep), and its not on a specific one (begining of the cycle), I will feel like my comp is completely different, until I restart it. Also, some shortcuts look better a certain way on certain wallpapers. I barely have any, but still.

@renovatedkitchen haha yeah, shortcuts and wallpaper should go together if possible. I colour code my shortcuts. And arrange them so they don't block the main subject of my background. (if it was a pony, I would arrange them around the pony so I'm not covering it)

@techdisk42 Oh, I could never do that. Mine are all neatly lined up, even with My Computer --> The personal folder thimgy --> Recycle Bin. The same way it was back in Win. 95 and forth. Need those 3 there.

@renovatedkitchen mine right now are neatly colour coded in horizontal rows: I have green icons like minecraft and notepad++ at the top, then blue like iTunes and thunderbird, then orange/yellow like firefox, some other colours I can't remember, folders, and .txt files. It's also stacked so the row with the most icons is at the top. It makes it look much nicer than you think!

@techdisk42 It doesn't sound too bad now that you mention it. The only thing that would get me is if the colour of the text was a little off the icon colour. If they werent supposed to be the exact same colour, then I would be good with that.

@renovatedkitchen yeah, the icons aren't all the exact same colour, such as, for example, iTunes and thunderbird, but they are still predominantly blue, so it's alot easier on the eyes. I'll post a pic of what it looks like tomorrow.

@renovatedkitchen I also have a custom minecraft wallpaper and custom mouse cursors. I might post em somewhere. Alas, I'm on my iPod and it cant do anything useful.

@renovatedkitchen I kinda like it, but it distracts me because of the aero glass effect showing parts of the background changing. With my ADHD, I can't get anything done when it's changing.
