I wonder what reaction I'd get from people if I dyed my skin Twilight purple.

@pony i am a Rainbow Dash fan. What do you think the reactions would be like if I died my hair like her?
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:31:17 UTC from web-
@hakupony "Hey cool hair" and "Homophobic slur"
-
@ceruleanspark Why "Homophobic"?
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:32:19 UTC from web-
@hakupony Rainbows are a symbol of gay pride as determined by some people.

@redenchilada Look man, every time I see a rainbow I just think of dudes doing it. It's totally natural.
-
@ceruleanspark See, that's dumb though. I prefer to see rainbows and think "boy this is gonna be a difficult race"

@redenchilada >He thinks Rainbow Road is hard >Laughingpeach.jpg

@ceruleanspark Rainbow Road SNES with first-person camera is hard. Not the fair kind of hard, but hard nonetheless.

@redenchilada Some incarnations of Rainbow Road are pretty challenging, but the Gamecube/Double Dash one is so easy that it's a bit of a joke really. Shame as Double Dash is my favourite game in the series.

@leonkfox That's the only one I've never played, actually.

@redenchilada You're not missing much really, it really. Doesn't live up to. Rainbow Road's reputation of being the hardest track in its respective game.

@redenchilada I know, but I wonder why I would be called homophobic...
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:35:22 UTC from web-
@hakupony *homophobic slur* implies they're calling you gay as an insult.
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:36:36 UTC from web-
@redenchilada I find such people most entertaining :)

@hakupony If someone thinks a thing is bad because of its association with homosexuality, that person is a homophobe.
-
@ceruleanspark Ah, I misunderstood that. Since I'm kind of a professional gay man, I could bear that.
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:36:04 UTC from web-
@hakupony How does one become a professional homosexual? Is there an exam?
-
@ceruleanspark Nope, but I do lobbyism for gay people, I organize informational events, I am responsible about a library about the topic and I do some sexual education on that matter.

@hakupony Rainbow-colored is a tricky thing here since it's used often to express homosexul activism. I don't know about Germany though. In Italy it might be seen as a pacifist statement since they hang rainbow colored "PACE" flags everywhere. Overall, in the US. you'd just get people staring or looking at you out of the corneres of their eyes.
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:35:23 UTC from web-
@pony Of course it is a symbol of homosexual activism but if people got problems with that, they got problems with me :P
Wednesday, 25-Apr-12 11:42:41 UTC from web-
@hakupony of course, if that's what you're going for then you're golden!

@pony Unfortunaly, it wouldn't suit the way my hair is.

@hakupony If you wore an afro you'd be considered a clown I suppose. lol
