@wafers kennel cough? What's that? I'm very sorry to hear :(. It does hurt when you loose a pet. I was so close with my cat. I taught her to sit and would sleep with her. I'd put her head on the pillow and cover her up. Then sometimes she would put her paw on me as she started to fall asleep. ^_^
