        1. @yodelerty I think the reason that video has 7.71 million views is because it was the first one just named "horses"

          1. @nerthos I should have uploaded a video called "Hi" back in the old days. How foolish I was. I could have had so many views.

            1. @awlderpy I want a horse like that one, but first I need to move to a secluded area with lots and lots of open land.

              1. @nerthos I actually had a dream two nights ago that I went to work on a horse that I had bought from one of the techs there (used to own horses). The whole thing was really really strange.

                1. @awlderpy I haven't had a dream that involved horses in a long while

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 02:49:02 UTC from web
                  1. @nerthos I've been having memorable dreams of finding some profound transportation to go to places, in many cases somewhere I haven't been before. These of course are the ones I remember, or the only good ones.

          2. @nerthos Okay, so, here's my problem: I am scared to death of horses. Like, real-life horses? Scared to death of them. I have this friend...who has tended to horses for years, until one day she had her KNEES FORCIBLY REMOVED FROM HER BODY BY A HORSE'S HIND HOOVES. Her knees...are no longer within her body. They're gone. They've been cleaved away. Do you understand this? Her knees are GONE.

            1. @clayinthecarpet Dude horses have ridiculously strong legs. Some of them can run at like 70km/h with a mass of a few hundred kg, and in general they can reach over 50km/h with a full grown man riding them. Of course a kick from one, with a contact surface as small as a hoof, will be able to remove someone's knees. I mean, you can do the same with a shovel and your arms don't have a fourth of the strenght of a horse's hind leg.

                1. @clayinthecarpet As long as you learn how to read the horse's emotions and don't startle it, you'll be safe.

              2. @nerthos @clayinthecarpet Then again getting hit by a small car can do the same damage.

                  1. @clayinthecarpet By rationalizing that horses aren't particularly dangerous for a thing their size

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 02:47:38 UTC from web
                    1. @nerthos THERE IS NO RATIONALIZING LOSING YOUR KNEES TO THE WHIM OF A SILLY HORSECREATURE.

                      1. @clayinthecarpet It's the same as getting bashed by a goat or scratched by a cat, it's just the horse is bigger.

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 02:52:33 UTC from web
                        1. @nerthos Yes, and I don't deal with any of those animals because of that risk, overall.

                          2. @clayinthecarpet Try getting attacked by a badger, that's some fun

                            1. @awlderpy ..............Explain, please.

                              1. @clayinthecarpet I was hiking through the woods one day when I was younger, and nearly stepped on a badger making it's way through, likely to it's nest. Well the little bananaser (actually quite large) practically jumped up near my face and sinked it's teeth and claws into the arm of my heavy coat, actually managed to scratch my arm. I had to violently shake it off, and when I did it reared up to attack again. Since I didn't have any weapons I ran like hell.

                                1. @awlderpy WILD ANIMALS ARE CRAZY. Run from them and take comfort in non-horse-kicking-out-your-knees videos until help arrives.

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 03:10:06 UTC from web
                                  1. @clayinthecarpet But I like animals, wild or no. I've only ridden a horse once but would like to do so again one day

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 03:11:55 UTC from web
                                    1. @awlderpy I'm sort of intentionally overreacting in conjunction with my general distaste toward real horses for the lulz. But for all intents and purposes, I really don't want to deal with real horses at any level because they scare the crap out of me.

Saturday, 16-Nov-13 03:13:59 UTC from web
                                      1. @clayinthecarpet I can understand; they scared me when I was younger.

            2. @clayinthecarpet It's like almost any animal. There are nicer and less nice ones and sometimes even the nice ones buck. First step is to realize it's an irrational fear (assuming you don't walk behind the horse) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL5zLon7MRY
