          @beatstrings @clayinthecarpet @awlderpy plant employs a lot of Latino and Afrikaans people here, and the vast majority of them don't speak more than broken English.

              @nerthos Apparently so. The 3 south african people that I know and talk to occasionally also age really papayasing well. Mercy's 42 but she looks like she's 21 or 22, and the two others are like 50 and 30 something, but they look 30 and 18 respectively.

                @flamingpandaomg That's probably due to melanin. If you meet a white person who has almost no exposition to sunlight, despite being pale, will look really young. It used to happen more in old times when women carried umbrellas and never exposed themselves to direct sunlight.

                    @flamingpandaomg Of course there's always a genetics and a lifestyle factor, but sun exposure affects skin aging greatly. I think it was my mom's grandma or something that was used to go around with the umbrella and looked young.

                      @nerthos Except my face and hands, which I obviously can't cover except in winter, all my skin looks really smooth and young because I pretty much never wear short sleeves or anything like that.
