@clayinthecarpet I tend to just mirror the emotion of whoever I'm talking to for fun. That's why I'll seem extremely hostile when talking to some users, and gleeful and friendly to others.

@nerthos There are always games, and there are always people playing the players. You and I are only pawns in a game, the game of one smugger and more devious than us, but I am the smuggest between us, for reasons apparent. This game was won before it began, by the sheer fact that I will discount your counters with nary a thought.

@nerthos I think...you're out for more than this @fialvert guy by being here. That alone says enough about who you are for me to make my assumptions and draw light conclusions. THAT IS NOT TO SAY, however, that you can't pwn some !#@%er at their own game. I'm just...one to sit and analyze folks on a more personal level.

@fialvert As you say, the game was won before it began, but not by you shrugging off counters, but by your inability to comprehend an entity of smugness so far beyond your own that it presents itself as eldritch to your eyes, therefore your mind fools itself with hallucinations of victory in a desperate attempt to keep itself whole. Begone now. You have tried, and I respect that, but trying isn't enough.

@nerthos *thinks* ...Yeah, I guess I'm here for the same reason. That and I need inspiration. People coming in here being genuinely enthused on a deep level by MLP and wanting to make friends inspires me to no end. It's a nice thing to have around.

@clayinthecarpet I keep sticking around because of the community. Despite some troubles and a fair share of drama, regulars tend to be good people. There's always one or two scumbags, of course, but there's enough good people to overshadow that.

@nerthos Sorry, I was counting up my posts numbers, and I'm apparently at 48k, including the posts on here. Now, back to the game, but you have delved into an area beyond yourself, a place of wordplay and trickery, which is a foolish endeavor when you consider how much time I spend crafting words in my day-to-day. My sanity has left me long before this, but it is a matter of principle that I embrace it, and let it become a part of me. Through this, I can only achieve greater standing, or, at the very least, send all before me away with my presence.

@awlderpy Isn't that why most of us came here, though? People suck and MLP, with all of its glorious wholesomeness, is an awesome beacon in this world of disappointment. Making friends within a community that recognizes the value of something like that just sounds ...wonderful to me. Not like, "I thought that film was wonderful", but like, WONDERFUL. 3kewl5skewl wonderful.
