I wonder if anyone would be interested in a Pinkamena Network. @murdershy doesn't seem to exist anymore and RDN doesn't have any grimdark/gore/pinkamena groups. I would kinda like to know before I buy a domain name and hosting for this (http://is.gd/4AbRvi) prototype. (Note: site layout may chance, this layout is based on the idea that the artists who made the artwork will approve of this usage, but they still have to be asked and if they will deny then that means we'll have to use other images)

@greydragon412 Well, it's built on a newer version of StatusNet and has a few features RDN doesn't have (like posting polls/questions) but besides that, there is very little difference, I suppose. What would make it interesting for you?

@greydragon412 A darker tone is the main idea, yes. We need to check what the hosting providers will allow, but we are planning to allow grimdark/gore, possibly NSFW with #NSFW tags if our hosting provider is fine with such content

@greydragon412 Depends on who you ask, really. I personally consider the two to have differences (you can have grimdark without any sexual implications, and the other way around) but I'm open to discussions regarding what would be the best way to manage such a site, seeing as I only have had moderator experience on sites that were supposed to be child-friendly I know very little about how to run such a clearly-not-child-friendly site.

@greydragon412 Sadly enough, I haven't even thought about that yet. Seeing how small the community will be at the start, I suppose it would be best to keep them together at first, until there is demand for splitting, or would you think otherwise?

@greydragon412 Okay. Well, that's one issue taken care of. Just need to think of what I will and will not allow, the rules obviously shouldn't be too restrictive on a grimdark-style site. But well, that's food for thought.

@greydragon412 Torturing other members: No. Turtore-related images: We were planning to allow that, yes. It doesn't really make a lot of sense to have a Pinkamena Network and only have happy and friendly discussions on it, instead of actual Pinkamena-related stuff.

@omni And a rule against posting stuff which is illegal in the region the server's hosted in, since I would assume you don't want to face legal problems.
