@scoot i mistyped. I meant ひらがな but ya that was right otherwise except you misread は as ha instead of wa. When it's the particle used to show subject it's read differently.

@scoot if you take the time to learn it's not that hard. It just takes a lot of time. I'm still learning kanji readings and writings and I've lived in Japan for 2 years. It's fun to learn but it's not easy.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Yeah see this is the problem, I don't have huge amounts of spare time, due to being in University. Most of my spare time is spent animating. I do learn what I can when I get a moment though

@scoot well, the first book had a part only for katakana and hiragana, but i dont remember it's name (the name was full of kanji and i never did read that)

@mushi they're hard to remember, I have attempted to learn the ka, ki etc. ones but I wound up forgetting them all really quickly.

@mushi ラ is easy to remember I think I just think ラ is like う. Also to learn the characters I write everything 50 times in a notebook saying it out loud.

@mushi the wierdest exercise i've ever seen was in a book I had and it was a friend asking for advice on problems they had and one of the problems was "My best friend's little sister is crazy for me what should I do?"
