  1. I kind of want a really fancy knife. I don't even know why. I have literally no use for a knife. And yet I want one

    1. @rarity they are the most useless things ever.

      1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual well good because I don't have any reason to have one anyway

        1. @rarity i don't even know why they give you them. I don't think I've ever unsheathed my knife. They look cool though and you can put them on guns. Ya that's about it. Knifes are dumb and useless.

            1. @nerthos i have not used it. Ever. The closest I've ever got to using a knife is a rubber one in mcmap training. I could probably not even have one and it'd make 0 difference yet for some reason I am required to carry it.

              1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Try to cut a rope with a gun.

                1. @nerthos why would I cut a rope? I also carry heavy duty scissors, wire cutters, and pliers so smaller stuff isn't a problem.

          2. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Thank god no one cares if I say gun. "Rifle not gun, cover not hat, head not bathroom, deck not floor…" it feels good to talk like a normal human being.

              1. @rarity I call it the head and I've never been in the service.

                  1. @rarity more than 2 1/2 tis means it is unlikely. However I may never walk with hands in pockets again.

                      1. @rarity you aren't allowed to put your hands in your pockets. I have conditioned myself against it. I now think it a plebian habit I will never succumb to.

                          1. @rarity it's less lame and more "wtf why is this even a thing" along with numerous other aspects of how to proeperly wear your… scratch that everything is stupid and makes no sense.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 03:54:32 UTC from web
                            1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual if you want my two cents, most of the tradition and protocol is there to keep you in line and essentially brainwash you, for lack of a better, more accurate term, I've never served, though, so my opinion is next to valueless.

Monday, 13-Jan-14 03:55:58 UTC from web
                              1. @rarity no that's reasonably accurate. Except it's voluntary brainwashing so it's more "discipline to instill obedience"
