  1. @awlditzy I was talking to someone who is legitimately convinced that ARMA is the exact same as the real thing. "The people even scream when they're injured and you have to fireman carry them out." Do you ever deal with these kinds of people and if so what do you even say. I said ok and nothing more but internally I was pretty applesed.

    1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual I simply invite them to find out for themselves how similar the two really are, if they're so hell-bent on re-inacting.

      1. @awlditzy i was never a fan of the whole "be behind them or stand in front of them" thing but I wish people would be respectful about it at least.

        1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Oh it's not for their benefit. If they're heavily in ARMA and *want* to do that crap, then why not take it a step further? Sure they could be respectful, but those who go as far to even think the two are similar already don't.

          1. @awlditzy initially I tried to explain that even if they made a game that did simulate it exactly it still wouldn't be realistic because there is no fear for yourself or the guys with you and you have no bond to them if they get shot anyways.

            1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual That's likely the part no one thinks about when they think of service in wartime especially. It isn't just you out there, it's your squad, their life on the line just as much if not more than your own. Your most real friends.

              1. @awlditzy anyways I digress. It really is something no one will understand unless they actually go through it.
