I met my dad at my half sister's softball game to give him a part he needed for his girlfriend's car. I hung out for a bit and watched them play. My half sister missed a catch in center field. The coach pulled her off the field. Ok... I guess angrily pulling a young girl off the field when she misses a catch is a good strategy... Well anyway, two innings later, another girl misses the exact same catch... the coach gives her a "well done!" I turn to my dad with a look on my face that must have ment "wtf?" He said simply "that's the coach's daughter" Some random guy points that out too. OMGWTFWHYHASNOONESAIDANYTHING!? http://ur1.ca/98qay

@madykatt amen!
-
@madykatt I hate coaching favoritism.
-
@madykatt Then that was probably a good idea.
-
@madykatt that's when you egg his car maybe. :D
-
@foxgopher oh you do NOT mess with my family!! I was hot... just imagine how my sister felt... she messes up once and is taken out of the game... ugh!
-
@pony *her.... stupid b..
-
@madykatt I've had that kind thing happen. Its freaking retarded.
-
@madykatt or maybe you could just let all the air out of his tires.. might be less conspicouous.
-
@foxgopher good thing my dad made me leave... ooooo http://ur1.ca/98qci
-
@madykatt oh right her* I mean
-
@pony no... i'm more grown up then that... not gonna sink to that woman's level. but if im ever at a game again and she pulls that again, i'll say something
-
@madykatt Light them on fire!
-
@foxgopher nope, i'm gonna be grown up about it... ill just be a #dramaqueen about it here at home
-
@madykatt that is an admirable sentiment. Hmm.. I wouldn't resort to vandalism but I know i'd wanna do something. I don't know whether i'd say anything though.
-
@pony sadly my sister's team is one of only two in the league that arent a select team. if she was in a select team, then we could take it up with the league officials.
-
@madykatt Also good. I just like suggesting the fire option.
-
@madykatt My league official is, he sorts his act out, or I would sort him out.
-
@mrdragon hay! just wanted to say that i looooooove ur avatar!!!!
-
@mrdragon yeh since the team isnt a "select" team, the league officials can't do much outside of relay the message to the coach. that would only make the couch take it out on my sister more. if it was a select team, then that means we paid money for her to be on the team, so we'd have more pull with the officials
-
@madykatt it depends on what kind of person the coach is beside her mistakes on the field and the severity of her offense.. and my relationship to the child as well. I may try to tactfully address the situation verbally, but if the coach were unreasonable I might stage a coup with other arents.
-
@madykatt I'd just kick his apples all the same.
-
@pony that was just favoritism, the offense isn't severe in a none select team. if we had paid for her to play on the team and that was done, then it would be a serious offense, bc we didnt pay for her to not play. there is actually an out of town tournament that my dad is pulling her from bc of stuff like that. he told me that he's not gonna have her go out to a game just to not play.
-
*iwakes up momentarily* @madykatt it can still be enough to really hurt a child's confidence and lead them to dislike playing. Hopefully your half-sis is fine.
-
@pony i hope so to, bc my dad went and talked to her when she got pulled to keep her spirits up
-
@partypinkiestyle Why thank you
