@mushi Ooooh, upgrade!
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:25:48 UTC from web-
@awlditzy well, that is probably better than what i currently am
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:27:55 UTC from web-
@mushi Level up by working on your major skills Mushi
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:29:59 UTC from web-
@awlditzy yeah, i'm wondering if i should go straight to get a master degree after i finish my major
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:31:36 UTC from web-
@mushi Well what are the benefits and do they outweigh "real world experience"?
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:33:02 UTC from web-
@awlditzy well, i dont know. They would pay me 3x whaty they pai me for my scientific iniciation, and i need a post graduation to become a researcher, but if i become a researcher i also have to be a professor, which is something i didnt want to, so i dont know. But in any case it would be easier than getting a real job for now
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:35:21 UTC from web-
@mushi Yeah, sounds like the way to go. Who knows, you may even change your mind down the road about being a professor.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:37:39 UTC from web-
@awlditzy yeah, but i have problems at talking, and being in crownds, and telking while in front of a crowd
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:39:46 UTC from web-
@mushi Things that might change in time, with practise definitely. I didn't like to lead, the idea of doing so, at all, but I was forced into it in the field.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:41:39 UTC from web-
@awlditzy yeah, that might be it. Anyway, being accepted in the college again wil be easier than getting a college level job, despite only 10% of brazil having a college degree
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:43:03 UTC from web-
@mushi Just not that kind of market, it's pretty much the same everywhere. Somewhat related, I caught an advert on the radio about how difficult it is to find a job for professional musicians, particularly classical/orchestral.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:44:48 UTC from web-
@awlditzy here, in brasília, there simply are no private companies (which is not much of a problem, since no private company would hire e anyway) so the way to get a chemistry job is either at a college or making a freaking hard adimission exam to one of the state companies. Even though like less than 1% of the country has a chemistry degree, it is still pretty hard.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:50:13 UTC from web-
@mushi Once the jobs get filled they stay that way. Like that for a lot of higher-end things.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:51:43 UTC from web-
@awlditzy yeah, well, if after the master degree i still cant get a job, to the doctror degree!
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:55:45 UTC from web-
@mushi Dang skippy.
Monday, 27-Jan-14 01:56:39 UTC from web-
@awlditzy well, in the end that might make me a better researcher
