@lulu he read somewhere that you guys ound oil in shale, now he is talkign about how that will destroy this world's oil based economy
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:34:40 UTC from web-
@mushi We already have several sources of our own. Unless this new source is much larger and more productive than our others we'll keep trading for oil no doubt.
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:36:29 UTC from web-
@lulu shale is a hell to producce. Different from ususal oil you cant make continuous extractions of it, that will most likelly will be only a small complementary source
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:40:17 UTC from web-
@mushi Ah I see. Well then no biggie
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:43:11 UTC from web-
@lulu no, also, the oil might not be the one USA uses the most. Brazil for example produces enough volume for its own use, but it is heavy oil, which is not fit for the country's need, so they have to change it for light oil.
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:47:32 UTC from web-
@mushi oh interesting. It's all over my head, but still interesting.
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:49:05 UTC from web-
@lulu well, i had a whole semmester to study oil technology, so i learned a little about those things
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:50:52 UTC from web-
@mushi My other half is the learned one when it comes to geology and energy soultions.
Thursday, 30-Jan-14 01:54:31 UTC from web-
