@smilingjack That saying isn't necessarily true but glad it worked out in your favour

@smilingjack good for you
-
@yodelerty The saying IS true, it's just that we in our lives don't meet more than a minimal part of the whole population of the planet.
-
@smilingjack It definitely exists but near impossible to find
-
@nerthos Then there's no real way of proving the saying is true
-
@yodelerty Let me put it this way: Among a hundred plates of different foods you may dislike every one, but among 7000 million plates, you're bound to find a couple you like.
-
@nerthos It's true that's it's improbable you may not like anything out of those dishes, but it's certainly possible. But I see your point
-
@yodelerty The only way you'd dislike every single one, is that your senses of taste and smell are severely damaged. In the love world the equivalent of that would be being both asexual and aromantic at the same time.
-
@nerthos That sort of life sounds easier
-
@yodelerty It's also easier to be postrated on a hospital bed being fed by tubes and doing nothing all day than working and having a normal life, but it isn't by any means better. You should try to see things without depression glasses some times.
-
@nerthos They're glued to my face
-
@yodelerty Then either smash them or blindfold yourself and use the rest of your senses to navigate your path.
-
@nerthos I'll do my best
