@renovatedkitchen I've noticed that my opinion of an episode seems to be directly related to the quality of Pinkie's character in that episode. Everypony I've talked to loves Pinkie Pride. If you get back into watching you should start with the s3 finale if you haven't seen it, then s4 premier, then watch Pinkie Pride.

@renovatedkitchen That would be good to hear. Actually, I think I like S3 better than S4 so far, but some feel differently. In any case Pinkie Pride is an all around great episode and has filly Colgate.

@renovatedkitchen @redenchilada S4 has a different feel to it, and I blame that in part on the childishness/immaturity of the writing. I mean, it's not like this is a show for kids after all, sheesh! But really it feels lazier and that laziness, as I was saying earlier, is reflected in Pinkie's character through various lol-so-randumb antics.

@pony Plot twist: You don't actually like ponies, and thus you like S3 because it's shorter than the other seasons.

@renovatedkitchen If you like S1 and S2 still you'll almost definitely like Pinkie Pride, and the most recent finale and premier are important plot-wise to understand a thing or two.

@nerthos Oh interesting! Completely silly of course, but it makes me think, maybe I think I got more attached to S3 because there was a longer time between it and the following season than between previous seasons. I clung to it like a life preserver.
