@purpletinker Ah, makes sense. I think carriage returns _will_ post, but get turned into plain spaces on the site. Not ideal for longer posts.

@purpletinker @comradebitshift You can insert carriage returns into posts using Statusnet desktop, and the carriage returns ARE stored in the DB, however, the site just ignores them. Any client that actually respects them /will/ display them though.
