    1. @redenchilada this has been overhyped in my opinion. She's always been naïve in social regards and almost every character in the show equally disregards the CMC's antics until they have their big end-of-episode screwup.

      1. @prettypurpleprincesspublicprincesstimeline I could understand the naivety when Scootaloo was posing for the cameras and etc (P.S. favorite part of the episode right there), since that can easily be disregarded as silly antics, but a large group comprised entirely of schoolchildren who show up to her house/library at the same time as her usual get-together with the CMC (after the restaurant scene, no less) should have at least raised some sort of red flags.

        1. @redenchilada the dialogue of the entire episode confirmed Twilight's strong belief that the CMC's were there for the sake of learning, and when she made that assumption the first time with two friends, the CMC's nodded along - which further validated her belief. So at the end she just believed that, it was simply escalating, or catching on as it were, because kids be like that erryday. while what I'm about to say doesnt directly defend this episode, twilight and gang were far dumber in previous cmc episodes.
