@theyurityphoon In honesty for somer eason there was just something about Winamp that I didn't like. I /wanted/ to like it, but I can't remember why I kept switching back to other players.

@theyurityphoon I tried out Winamp when I was 13 and I hated it, I'll probably still dislike it.

@scoot because I already had WinAmp configured just the way I liked it.

@scoot I don't remember much else about foobar. It was during a week-long span where I shifted through like 6 different media players, and I found WinAmp to be the easiest for me to configure and get how I like it.

@theyurityphoon I like foobar because it uses basically 0 system resources, has an instant searchbar, easy to make playlists with just drag+drop and when I add files to my music folder it can see them immediately without having to go through "add to library". I'm sure Winamp has some or all of these features but oh well

@scoot The main part I like of WinAm p is the autotag that lets you fix metadata because most of my music wasn't... right.

@theyurityphoon Oh, I'm super obsessive over metadata and update it when it's added to my library, so I guess I didn't have that issue.
