  1. !grrr I got an Email certificate from Comodo and managed to install it in Thunderbird. However, it's not trusted because "the issuer is unknown". Do I miss a rootkey thingy? I don't know where to find it. :( And Comodo seems to assume the whole world is using Windows and more than half the world is using IIS. :(

    1. @mk I think I found the necessary certificate file - now I need to figure out out to install it. OR I misunderstand what the problem is in the first place...

    2. @mk well, I found downloadable intermediate and root certificates (even a bundle) AND I found how to install such files (tried and the method worked) but the prioblem is there is no root/intermediate certificate with a name that matches the issuer's name in the certificate that was created for me. So, I learned things (yay), but I am no further to a working email certificate. :( Didn't someone mention recently that encrypted email is too complicated for ordinary computer users? It sure is!

      1. @mk ok, I think I'll have to find another issuer of free email certificates...
