    First world artist problems: I would love to commission somebody to do a digital version of my OC pony doing stuff, but I don't trust anyone to understand the purpose of my character enough to pay for it.

    Honestly, I'd have to make them read my fanfic and tell them a bit about myself first even if I did. fml.

      @clayinthecarpet I can't say I understand this. Surely the artist would just need to know the facial expression, pose, what they're doing/setting etc, and obviously what the oc looks like. They don't need a backstory.

        @ellistia My problem is, there's a personality to my OC that defines everything he does, every waking moment. I want the other artist to see and understand that in order for it to influence their work. I dunno, perhaps they could find something they like about it, if possible, before they just throw out something off the top of their head.
