@r87dash You see the little left arrow in the corner of posts? You can use that to reply to people, like I'm replying to you right now. There are groups you can join to meet users in your area or with similar interests, and other than that this place is sort of like Twitter but with one single timeline.

@r87dash Neat, that makes it easy for us to get you routinely using site features that make sure you'll never be able to use Twitter in the future without missing them. Like post lengths that let you write meaningful content without breaking posts up into fifty segments!
