    1. @mastertdi What are you doing for America Day?

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:37:48 UTC from web
      1. @clayinthecarpet We ate burgers and corn. Very nice corn you people have.

        1. @mastertdi You make the Native in me very proud, sir.

          1. @clayinthecarpet Rock on.

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:39:30 UTC from web
        2. @mastertdi I like korn, the band and the food.

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:40:54 UTC from web
          1. @beatstrings I like the food but I find the band mostly rubbish

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:41:43 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @northernnarwhal Well, I'm not stopping you, there's music we recognize and like, and there's rubbish like <insert horrible artist name here>

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:43:32 UTC from web
              1. @beatstrings Well, I find their songwriting and playing incredibly one dimensional and lacking dynamic, and they've only gotten worse over time (like, brostep collabs, really?)

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:46:36 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @northernnarwhal Well, let them, I just consider their work applicable to my versatility. In any case, they are kind of finding attention, you know, the collabs and stuff. In the end, doesn't really matter, I'm just saying I can consider your observation about its decline of quality.

                  1. @beatstrings It's really just a failed attempt at experimentation from a band who are trying way too hard or not at all

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:50:43 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                    1. @northernnarwhal Boy, at the time collab of band with new age music was a thing. But the end of it kind of makes me wonder if they ever stop and think if they should really follow the trends and practices of modern society, don't you?

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:52:55 UTC from web
                      1. @beatstrings Yeah, I think they're just cashing in on a popular market instead of really trying to reinvent their music.

Friday, 04-Jul-14 23:54:45 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                        1. @northernnarwhal Needless to say, I'm a fan of the genre, not really of the whole group. I also observe short comings on others too. Though I never expected bumping into another observer like you. Peace.

                          1. @beatstrings Which genre, brostep or numetal? (I'm really not into either). Also peace.

                            1. @northernnarwhal Any that makes sense and takes a stand on what it's about. Not saying "baby" 24 times in a course of a minute. You know, music and stuff.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:00:56 UTC from web
                              1. @beatstrings Yeah but it's not just about the lyrics. All they do is play power chords and sing about a bunch of teen angst, and the production is really crisp and poppy too.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:02:57 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                1. @northernnarwhal Ahuh, who knows they're just having a heck of a time making these for a specific age, like you said, "teen angst". Let's presume that's their forte within the production. In order to please the largest part of the crowd who listens to them, they repeat it, changing minimally over time. Just to satisfy the majority of their so called fans. Sound familiar?

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:11:08 UTC from web
                                  1. @beatstrings Yeah, sounds like teeny bopper pop rubbish

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:13:01 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                    1. @northernnarwhal Right, just let them do their thing, listen to another genre if you could. I have been doing it so for years. Not to be quick on judgement but I sense you're the type of person who values what she listens to so I can't blame you for your point of view.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:16:52 UTC from web
                                      1. @beatstrings I listen to a lot of music and I play music, I collect vinyl records and CDs and kind of have strong opinions on the subject.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:19:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                        1. @northernnarwhal I play, listen, collect and I tend to keep opinions at a minimal to prevent fatal words from coming out. Though I keep my passion strong, and my mouth shut.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:21:39 UTC from web
                                          1. @beatstrings I know what I do and don't like, and I own so much music I have a decent understanding of different genres and styles, so while it's still just my opinion it's my opinion based on years of listening experience

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:23:57 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                            1. @northernnarwhal Right, keep it, I have my slice of every genre and I merely scratch the surface of every single track out there. But I just remind myself to think openly why it exists, whether or not it'll be great or horrid. I keep what I like and I don't like to myself.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:26:46 UTC from web
                                              1. @beatstrings There's a difference between being open minded and having to like everything. Like, if you don't like American reality TV because it's all vain pretentious garbage is that you being close minded?

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:28:33 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                1. @northernnarwhal Oh, I'm not saying I like everything. Although I can't comment about television, since I don't have one. What I'm saying is that I just happen to really appreciate things and be happy with it. Plus, half of the time, while I'm in the real world, I judge and criticize for things around me, then sometimes get sick of everything I see. So when I get here, I leave all hatred behind and just have a break.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:34:12 UTC from web
                                                  1. @beatstrings I guess I've listened to so much I've sort of developed personal standards

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:35:44 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                    1. @northernnarwhal Good, it is nice to see standards, dear lady. And I don't mean to oppose such. Though this quite excites me since I never get enough deep thoughts. And it is safe to say I have my own.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:39:13 UTC from web
                                                      1. @beatstrings I think standards are important outside of music too, you should have an idea of your own worth in general too.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:40:34 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                        1. @northernnarwhal I have, believe me, it is many and I can see potential. But they are mere thoughts. I suppose. I'll get there when I get there.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:41:51 UTC from web
                                                          1. @beatstrings We all get there eventually

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:42:53 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                            1. @northernnarwhal True, then we all take a breather, and just stay still, for a moment, and continue like ticking clocks.

Saturday, 05-Jul-14 00:44:59 UTC from web
