@beatstrings Well, I find their songwriting and playing incredibly one dimensional and lacking dynamic, and they've only gotten worse over time (like, brostep collabs, really?)

@northernnarwhal Well, let them, I just consider their work applicable to my versatility. In any case, they are kind of finding attention, you know, the collabs and stuff. In the end, doesn't really matter, I'm just saying I can consider your observation about its decline of quality.

@northernnarwhal Boy, at the time collab of band with new age music was a thing. But the end of it kind of makes me wonder if they ever stop and think if they should really follow the trends and practices of modern society, don't you?

@beatstrings Yeah but it's not just about the lyrics. All they do is play power chords and sing about a bunch of teen angst, and the production is really crisp and poppy too.

@northernnarwhal Ahuh, who knows they're just having a heck of a time making these for a specific age, like you said, "teen angst". Let's presume that's their forte within the production. In order to please the largest part of the crowd who listens to them, they repeat it, changing minimally over time. Just to satisfy the majority of their so called fans. Sound familiar?

@beatstrings I listen to a lot of music and I play music, I collect vinyl records and CDs and kind of have strong opinions on the subject.

@northernnarwhal I play, listen, collect and I tend to keep opinions at a minimal to prevent fatal words from coming out. Though I keep my passion strong, and my mouth shut.

@beatstrings I know what I do and don't like, and I own so much music I have a decent understanding of different genres and styles, so while it's still just my opinion it's my opinion based on years of listening experience

@northernnarwhal Right, keep it, I have my slice of every genre and I merely scratch the surface of every single track out there. But I just remind myself to think openly why it exists, whether or not it'll be great or horrid. I keep what I like and I don't like to myself.

@northernnarwhal Oh, I'm not saying I like everything. Although I can't comment about television, since I don't have one. What I'm saying is that I just happen to really appreciate things and be happy with it. Plus, half of the time, while I'm in the real world, I judge and criticize for things around me, then sometimes get sick of everything I see. So when I get here, I leave all hatred behind and just have a break.
