      @scoot Or, instead, we could only take the guns away from people who might ever use them for what we think of as "evil". Biggest SNAFU is ofcourse, how do you implement that in a country hellbent against it. And who and how should you do this "test" ?

        @critialcloudkicker I wouldn't do that test. I'd just take away the guns so people stop getting shot. Only game hunters can have guns.

        @critialcloudkicker The problem again is different people have different ideas of what "evil" is. Because even people who are widely seen as "evil" today thought they themselves were doing the right thing when they were doing it.
