    2. @nicklecat Some Magic champions invented a deck-building game called Ascension which solves the problem, because everyone has access to the same cards in a given game. It's much fairer!

    3. @nicklecat I think you can try an iPad version of it, but the physical base set costs around $50.00. It's well worth it if you have people who like Magic but want something fairer. One base set gives you a complete game, and the expansions add new features like "energizing" crystals and world events.
