                  @l1ghtsword I usually write out a small pattern by hand, then loop it while trying out different tones until I find something I like, then I use a mixture or going by hand and by midi.

                     @northernnarwhal i cant do it by paper without the use of a keyboard. i am still getting used to translating the key in my head to the actual note..
