@nerthos Eh, gaming laptop is a strange concept. It's not specialized for gaming. It just has good qualities for that. It's more for my complex music composition XD

@paxusjkl Oh, that makes sense. I just find "gaming laptop" as a funny thing, because as a battery operated machine, it must be built for power efficiency, not for performance output.

@nerthos When on AC power and the arbitrary caps are off, I've seen some laptops run fairly well. Heat seems to be the real issue. I out game my friend's 15" Alienware on a Latitude because his case is too full to move any air through. Temp spikes, fps crashes, profanity ensues.

@eaglehooves Yup, that's one of the main problems. I like laptops with a removable back cover.

@nerthos I took my cover off and put it on one of those fan pads once. I had to call it a night before it got hot enough to have an issue.
