Hello, new here. Just getting used to things. I'm sure this has been posted a bunch of times, but what do you do when people find it creepy that you're into MLP?

@kaiburbro17 Umm... Here! Explain that it is just an interest, try showing them that you just like the show. But I know people who have MUCH better advice.

@kaiburbro17 Either ignore them or point out that people are in fandoms for other cartoons as well and they're not considered creepy. Although I don't really watch the show anymore

@rarity I've been watching it on Netflix. I've also been wanting to watch the older versions... My Dad said it was pretty creepy that I was a seventeen-year-old falling in love with ponies that were exploited sexually on other forums and other places on the internet.

@rarity It's SO true. Haha. He asked me why I liked it, I told him I liked the idea of being a part of a community. He didn't like that answer and asked me why a television show should be the sticking point for a relationship.
