  1. It looks like I've been offered a job making double what I make now while continuing to do the same thing. It's out of state (in a place I'd LIKE to live)... so... why am I so worried?

          2. @loak Exciting in so much as I'd make more and live somewhere else. Literally, LITERALLY, it is me doing what I am doing now, but for the client as opposed to the contractor. Rather, I'd be a DIRECT contract instead of a 3rd party contract.... if that makes any sense. Work with the same people, do the same thing, report to the same folks, etc.

      1. @extremedash True, true. I think I just tend to panic when change is imminent.

        1. @ponygeist Yah most people do but without change you can't make any progress in life. That and since I have moved over a dozen times in 18 years I know from experience change is usually a good thing and in your case it sounds good

          1. @extremedash Fair enough. I've done my fair share of moves. This one is just a bit bigger. I'm heading into a situation where I don't have any sort of safety net. No family in the region. Only business contacts.

              1. @extremedash Not too far. Salt Lake to Seattle.

                1. @ponygeist I lived in Washington before, I moved to there from Texas. How long of a drive do you think that would be? Unless your flying.

                  1. @extremedash From what I gather (haven't looked myself) the drive is approx 12 hrs.
