@der sounds good, you're planning for high capacity & load :-) @hannes2peer is Quitter one machine or multiple machines? @heluecht

@hannes2peer impressive! We already know it's running !FreeBSD. Can you say sth about RAM, CPUs, & internet connection?
-
@mcscx i don't know about ram and cpu. we have 100 Mbit up and down, but then we have a vpn which i'm not sure is that fast all the time

@mcscx this image is from last year, but it is roughly the same now http://catacaos.hannesmannerhe.im/3mp0ekk20131123.jpg

@hannes2peer Very very awesome. #Quitter #Server #Site

@mcscx top down: router, switch, nas, server, turned off server, ups, ups. i think
-
@hannes2peer Nice!! So the mysql-db and /var/www/statusnet are located on the nas? So you could just switch to the other server?
-
@mcscx no i don't think we use the nas for quitter, yet, maybe the /file/-folder is there already, i don't know exactly
-
@hannes2peer but it's a NAS not a SAN? I think a SAN can be used for the DB+all file data and if one machine goes down you can use the other
