@mk undefined things happen when there's a group name conflict. I'm tempted to rename the group (but I should try with a test group before)

@mk on Quitter you'll still have to use *old*.quitter\.se/group/raspberrypi to get a +remote subscribe button (will come with next version)

@hannes2peer indeed the +remote button is there & the prob isn't related to Quitter / !qvitter. It's name conflict w/ former identica group

@mcscx i failed joining !raspberrypie@quitter.se from quitter.no. since identi.ca is unknown to quitter.no i guess it's a quitter.se issue

@mcscx but that's what I saw on my first attempt; but both that and teh 'new' group page lead (when doing a remote join) to the same confirm page with that warning. So I haven't confirmed (in both cases).

@mcscx no, I don't think so (but (now) it says "Not found - no such group"); I actually came out here which is NOT old quitter but does have a "remote join" button: https://quitter.se/group/raspberrypi - I note that that is https, not http. clue?

@mcscx it didn't get renamed in the quitter db, so i renamed it manually. then i managed to join !raspberrypie@quitter.se from quitter.no

@hannes2peer how about InfiniteScroll feature on Old? Turning pages with "Before" shows always the same again, b/c the TL is moving so fast

@mcscx i've set it to load more when you press "before", that's how we had it set before. but the css for the before-button is gone

@hannes2peer this looks very good, just clicked Before 3x, seems to work :-) The "Forward" (on the left) button is gone, it no longer needed

@hannes2peer I wonder whether Activity "x now follows y" should be turned off. Each time someone joins they sub to 50 accts → 50 messages

@hannes2peer I wonder: is this "InfiniteScroll"? On my testing instance & vinilox the Before button is gone & loading is done fully auto

@mcscx yes but i did this: addPlugin('InfiniteScroll', array('on_next_only'=>true)); so you don't have to chase the footer :)

@mcscx duh, when I do a remote join from my own profile page I see that description again on the 'confirm' page: "caution - do not subscribe to this group, it's merely a workaround to let me post to the identica based group"
