@bitshift rolf is it overheating?
-
@bitshift heheh, my father says the laptop will set the couch on fire
-
@bitshift Dear legs, stop smelling like bacon when cooked.
-
@foxgopher actually based on his picture it should smell like fried chicken
-
@foxgopher Mmm, legs.
-
@bitshift MMMMmmMmm
-
@pinkieremastered Not so much that as it just runs hot anyway when it's doing a lot of work (but this is probably to be expected, given it has the oomph to happily run things like Fallout: New Vegas on pretty decent graphical settings).

@bitshift I use a conveniently shaped box to protect my legs and give my laptop added breathing space. (the box came with a long rectangular grill pan). It's the poor man's laptop pad. http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=2243862011 #related

@pony Yeah, I'm definitely gonna be getting a laptop pad and/or makeshift alternative at some point. Mostly I use my laptop with it on a hard surface, but it'd be pretty bad if I couldn't ever use it in the manner its name suggests.

@pony The grill pan is to make your legs delicious once theryre cooked.
-
@redenchilada haha! yes.. grill marks add to the appeal too

@bitshift What I've /heard/ is that a good hard surface does most of what the expensive pads do, even those with fans. For my second laptop I'm considering getting something light and thin and sturdy so it can fit with the laptop easily in its case (like maybe hardboard i.e. what brown clipboards are made out of).
