@metaltao So it's excellent relative to his body of work, that's a bit more accurate. I'm listening to this track right now and personally wouldn't consider it a masterpiece of electronic music.

@metaltao It's not bad by any means, it's actually a decent track. But as I said below, masterpiece is a very strong word. I personally reserve it for a select few LPs.

@metaltao Hmmm, I'll give an example within electronic music so as to fit the context of the conversation. Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada is definitely a masterpiece in my eyes, a brilliant and progressive album ahead of its time that pushed boundaries and influenced countless future musicians (myself included!). The minimalistic melodic structures coupled with the complex rhythmic patterns and intelligent use of sound manipulation and field recordings are baffling even 16 years after the album first came out. A seminal work of art.
