@derpy128 I also have to have a comparison of this with another work (can't remember the name of the other) and a short biography of the artist... In order of 1. Biography 2. Analyzation 3. Influences 4. Comparison ..By tomorrow. Ha ha... I'm so screwed...

@deadmadness665 On a serious note, might want to look up other works done by the artist. As an analysis of just this work on the fly, I'd say the artist was trying to render an angle by having the face of the subject remain as symmetric as possible, which suggests a sort of peripheral on-looking by the subject.
