  1. Before I go asking google, does anyone here happen to know how to disable a rear camera on an Android tablet through software while still leaving the front camera available for use?

            1. @redenchilada Ah okay. Well if he's never going to use that camera and don't mind messing with the device you can easily just super glue something over it. I don't know if you can do this with just software without rooting the device and you don't want to give him a rooted device I assume

              1. @scoot Rooting it isn't entirely out of the question, since it's not like he tries to mess with settings or anything. That said it'd be a good idea for us to keep it under warranty, so we might just go the superglue rote. There's no concern about other people using it because everyone else in the family already has a tablet who wants one (and also nobody else wants to use a children's branded tablet lol)
