I barely remember this but remember it was taken shortly after the tornado went through my old neighbourhood. Just another obvious picture depicting my fascination of desolate landscapes. http://rainbowdash.net/url/816865

@awlditzy It's incredibly barren, almost apocalyptic. I love the cloud streak along the side too.

@northernnarwhal Wish I could find more pictures from this day, it's coming back to me in a very vivid sense.

@awlditzy Here's one of my favourite shots from a recent walk home through my neighbourhood http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/816868

@northernnarwhal That has Hints of Eye Flow!

@northernnarwhal Ity might be stronger if you flipped it on its Vertical Axis.

@northernnarwhal Such an utterly clairvoyant sky. Man sometimes I look up at it and wish I could capture its beauty forever. This is getting close to doing the whole work.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:42:25 UTC from web-
@awlditzy The one good thing about getting up very early for school is the odd occasion where the sky's orange shade is rich as a persimmon
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:45:08 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Unfortunately lately I haven't waken up early enough for the sunrise and work through sunset but I can still look out a window.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:46:24 UTC from web-
@awlditzy This time of year we never get an orange or red sky in the dawn because of the winter solar cycle, but during summer and autumn it is a lot more common.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:48:21 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Hopefully come summertime I'll have the time to try and capture the sky round here. There is much less light pollution here at night than there was in my old neighbourhood but unfortunately I have no equipment for nighttime photography.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:50:19 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Yeah, I usually just use my phone for photography so it's useless during nighttime hours unless I want the glare from the flash.
-
@northernnarwhal I've come to just use my mobile for the quick photographs as well. Just because it's easier.

@awlditzy I know I had a decent camera I brought with me on me trip to Scotland, though currently I'm lending it to my mother.
-
@northernnarwhal I had bought a small camera during my stay in Italy but rarely use it.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:59:46 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Visiting Italy would be lovely, I know my brother went 2 years ago and just loved it there.
-
@northernnarwhal I have to get my pictures on this computer, you might like some of them. We went to Venice a few times and I did get some scenery of Treviso as well.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:02:08 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Ohh yes, I would very much enjoy those. Vence especially.
-
@northernnarwhal When I have the patience to wait for the laptop to get situated I'll get them. Honestly thought I had them saved on this computer.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:05:38 UTC from web-
@awlditzy I have most of my pictures either on my laptop or my external drive as of right now, though most of them are a bit unorganized.
-
@northernnarwhal All that stuff was from a time I don't care to re-visit, not that it was bad it's just... eh. It is what it is I suppose and don't regret living there but I don't consider it a high point.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:08:30 UTC from web-
@awlditzy I understand, there are some things associated with that which you're not content with. I'm the same about some places and times in my life.
-
@northernnarwhal To be honest the only high point I can say I have had was military, everything else just falls so short. All I can do is just not make other people suffer for my bad outlook I guess.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:13:42 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Maybe in a different life i would enlist for duty. i have too many people that rely on me but i have considered it.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:14:57 UTC from web -
@awlditzy At this point my high points and low points feel a lot like a blur, I've been losing lots of patience with myself.
-
@northernnarwhal same
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:16:29 UTC from web -
@northernnarwhal Everything outside of the service has just been feeling like that, a blur, a big pointless blur, lately. I have been having more flashbacks recently as well, some good, some not.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:17:46 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Sorry to hear about that, I can't imagine what it must have been like. I can relate to the feeling of blurriness though, not justin emotion but also occurance. Everything is flying by so fast right now, it's harder than usual to come to conclusions.
-
@northernnarwhal I barely have time, it seems, to think about anything. Tonight was a turn of events as I thought about Maycan for the first time in a while.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:23:17 UTC from web-
@awlditzy That's good, it's creative stuff like that which keeps you sane.
-
@northernnarwhal Ha, it's like using your fingers on a papayaing dam.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:26:05 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Better than nothing, or having no dam at all
-
@northernnarwhal Oh you couldn't dam that river, and maybe I don't give a damn anyway.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:28:46 UTC from web-
@awlditzy At this point, why fight it? Maybe it's best to leave the river be and in its place anyway.
-
@northernnarwhal I broke you in the canyon, I drowned you in the lake. (It's Dam That River by Alice in Chains and it seemed really really relevant). And yes I wonder if I should start shooting beavers with this particular river.
Monday, 26-Jan-15 05:32:07 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Only those that would threaten to prosperity of the river if you ask me.

@northernnarwhal I like to imagine the cloudy winter sky is king sambra in search of crystals
Monday, 26-Jan-15 04:51:29 UTC from web-
@kindadrunksword He should ask Walter if it's crystal he's looking for
