        @metaltao It's Daniel-san. Miyagi is not referring to Daniel as his son, he's using the Japanese -san honourific, which is a common gender neutral honourific used out of respect towards any age.

            @metaltao The best way to explain honourifics is to look at them as the Japanese equivalents of stuff like Mister, Missises, Doctor, etc.
