  1. It depends where the focus is. in my view it isn't (that) much of a difference when people go away from !twitter to just join another beehive. For experiencing things it might be ok, but the focus should be to make it easily possible for the !fediverse users to run their own instance (and e.g. take their data from somewhere else to there). And, of course, @mmn is basically the only dev, he can't do all this alone.

    1. ... in my view the best + easy-to-install system for normal users is still !twister. They can run it from their own device (no need to fear their hoster will look into their data) or elsewhere, and still have their same data everywhere. twister has other ungood things in my view, but hey, it can be forked
