Having a conversation over Skype on how awful the new looks are when the conversation suddenly changes into "Well what do you prefer". My honest answer ? I prefer IRC when you are trying to pull off something huge, like 12+ people, such as raiding. Else I'd say you're better off with a forum or something like status.net ... "But I hate IRC !" was the retort... How could anyone hate IRC ?

@critialcloudkicker You know you can just run an old Skype executable overwriting the new one and use the old interface, right?

@nerthos In short : It takes way less combined effort to go to a java-applet or into your IRC client of choice and connect to the room you are supposed to be in compared to making sure everyone has installed Skype, and their stuff is working, and now everyone has to become friends... I think I forgot about the creating of the account, for many-a-plebian does not remember stuff like that it seems )

@critialcloudkicker Also, I remember you asked me about how good Payday 2 actually was. Answer is, pretty nice if you play with friends, sometimes really easy, some misions are horribly broken though. Also spawns can be wild, sometimes sending you 30 regular enemies, sometimes 4 shields and 3 dozers. Sometimes I've seen 3-4 tasers together. But it's still pretty nice to play.

@critialcloudkicker Considering how money cow 2 is, I don't think I'll be playing 3. 1 had literally ONE dlc. 2 has like 20.

@nerthos That's ohkay. I do not have a crew to play it with anyway. Alledgedly some of them even left Payday 2 once the easy-mode-jewlery-heist thingie was patched or something

@critialcloudkicker Jewerly heists are still easy mode between two people. You literally tie/shoot the civies outside, shoot the cops, and grab all the loot.

@nerthos Actually, no, one can't do that since Microsoft had blocked old Skype clients due to some protocol changes.

@critialcloudkicker Have you seen XMPP? Multi user chats, single user chats, contacts roster, presence notifications, all package.

@andresinmp Mumble is a group VoIP chat, not an IM. More like a VoIP IRC thing.
