@rednorth My mother told me of a story where these guys in school were fed up with a teacher who was absolutely unbearable, so they tied a really hard to see string between the blackboard and a desk, and all walked over it making it evident it was there. So then they started making her mad until in her anger she walked through it and fell. As soon as she left to tell the school authorities, they removed the string and threw it off the window, and she could prove nothing.

@beatstrings She'd also walk into the classroom really mad at everyone and throw her bag on a desk. It always slipped and fell. The desks were just the same height as the window, so they placed the desk against the window, and when she threw the bag, it slipped off the window and into the street. The street had one of those electrical trains? Thing is it went over her bag.

@nerthos This is back when teachers either abuse their authority or just simply be terrible at teaching. I remember an old man tell stories identical to that.

@beatstrings Teachers are just the same nowadays. They just have less authority. They're still jerks and every wise guy still messes with them.
