    In Canada it depends on the province or territory you're in. Here in Ontario anyone under 18 is a minor. Though the age of consent nationwide is 16.

        @rednorth Nope, the age of consent in Canada is 16. However, when the activity involves the exploitation of a person (i.e. prostitution, pornography, etc.) the age of consent is 18. http://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/other-autre/clp/faq.html
