                @mushi I think they do in this game, which is funny since the series has a monster called "overkilling machine." There are loads and loads of monsters whose own names are censored.

                          @tiffany I' don't at all recall an Overkilling Machine in DQMJ1, but it's been a while so I could be wrong. Though I know the regular Killing Machine is a staple of the Dragon Quest franchise even outside of DQM (they make for pretty great crew members in Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime)

                            @northernnarwhal I don't think Overkilling Machine is in 1 which is why I said "series" to mushi. Also DQMJ2 Professional has "Uberkilling Machine" I believe

                  @tiffany well, it is probably because the word "kill" is too heavy for people who play a game where basically all you do is to kill monsters and get the parts of the corpses to make stronger weapons to kill more monsters so you can use the parts of their corpses to make stronger weapons to kill more monsters and so on
