@yodelerty I'm taking a vacation in three weeks and plan on a camp to maybe help with it. I'd take you with me, but that might be kidnapping.

@yodelerty How fondly do you remember the last time you were on one?

@awlditzy Pretty decently. It was part of some summer camp competition where one leg involved rowing across a lake. I was okay at it. Our team won.

@yodelerty Aw man that's pretty sweet. You remember what the water was like by chance? I had been told that there are lakes in Alberta (assuming that's where your summer camp was) where the water is crystal clear even in the middle of them.

@awlditzy Water was dirty lol. I know when I took swim lessons at my lake near me I could see the algae growing on the bottom. But that's a manmade lake so idk.

@awlditzy I switched to doing them in a pool afterward. Not the same but at least it was warmer and cleaner. Sort of.

@yodelerty Pretty cool that you kept at it at least, and in regards to pools... kind of a give and take or so I'd imagine, trash and 'natural' dirtyness vs bleach and 1st grader pee.

@awlditzy I dislike children so yeah lakes are nice in that regard. I've wanted to do late night swimming in a lake with friends but I have no friends and I don't know of any public lakes around so idk.

@yodelerty That sucks. Most local lakes round here have no swimming laws after sunset, mostly because of most of them being inhabited by lakeside properties outside of parks. I can't swim for Fluffle Puff all anyways.

@awlditzy It's not too hard. Someone I knew in middle school learned basic swimming in a couple hours. It's good exercise too.

@yodelerty I get somewhat nervous in the water is why I´m not so good at swimming, but that's ok. Got my running at least.

@awlditzy Fair. Running's good too. It's better for you than biking for sure anyway. Decent to run to music honestly. I need to go running in the provincial park near me this summer.

@yodelerty Yeah you do. You think you'll go based on time or distance, as to say, make goals for how long to run or how far?

@awlditzy I'll just run until I'm bored once a week or so. I need to trim down anyway. Actually running isn't that good for your joints now that I think about it. Maybe walking is the answer. I don't even know. I just need to find better ways to spend my time than crying and spending money.

@yodelerty Well none of it's good for your joints but you just have to know how to run in order for the wear to be less. As in, don't slam your foot down on your heels, that creates a lot of shock to go all the way up your legs. At least you got the idea in you to find ways to spend time, though. I like that you're thinking that way.
