                      @redenchilada Awww, that sucks :( But if you're anything like me it's probably for the better, I'm very much an impulse spender at places like that and at Anime North I went kind of nuts with my spending because I did have a budget to spend.

                        @northernnarwhal I've never really bought much at conventions. BFF I think I just got a few things to stick on my laptop, and AO was a shirt and a bunch of buttons for my lanyard.

                          @redenchilada I wouldn't say I go to conventions just to buy stuff (or really any one specific reason), but the prospect of spending a bunch of money on useless merch tends to be a big part of the appeal of conventions for me.
