          @bobo The funny thing is the only PSI attack Ness uses in Smash that he actually learns in EarthBound is PK Flash. He never at any point learns PK Fire, PK Thunder, PSI Magnet, or PK Starstorm.

                @northernnarwhal I do feel bad about lowering to this level, especially when I'm referencing an emotionally powerful series like Mother. Spoilers for Mother 3 When the campfire scene, happened and the dialogue "...it was pierced through your wife's heart," flashed across the screen, I let out an audible "Oh, batcave!" Flint's anger after being told about the tragic event reminded me of some personal experiences. That's one thing I really like about the story; it connects with the player on so many levels. It's downright brilliant.

                  @bobo I feel part of why Mother 3 works so much for me is that its a game that prioritizes its writing and articulates themes I both agree with and find compelling, so it's not just something I find well constructed but also just my kind of game.
