@riley My favourite horror game of the decade is an easy one though, it's Amnesia: The Dark Descent (which is admittedly kind of an obvious choice, but I still think it's a damn great game, also I have yet to play Until Dawn due to my lack of owning a PS4)

@riley Yeah I'm just going off of horror games I've played from this decade (which admittedly isn't a lot) , from what you've told me about Until Dawn it definitely sounds absolutely like my kind of game so I'm eager to play it.

@northernnarwhal Alien Isolation and Amnesia are both solid games, but neither of them have the dynamic, replayability that Until Dawn has. Also Until Dawn is very well written, has an amazing atmosphere, and overall I love it

@riley I will be sure to play that (and Alien: Isolation too) at some point after I get a PS4. Or I could borrow my friend's if he's not using his.

@northernnarwhal Again, the game's new to me, so with time I may realize it isn't that great, but, as of right now I'm so in love with it. I'm gonna play it through a few more times because, when I talked to people about the game, it sounds like we had completely different experiences

@riley Yeah I understand that, you always get really hyped about a piece of media once you immediately consume it or enjoy it, but you start to realize how you really feel about stuff once you've let it settle for a bit.

@northernnarwhal Yeah, which is why I feel like I could be overhyping this game. I know I've done this before, but what I can say with certainy is that, my first time playing it, I absolutely adored Until Dawn

@riley I'll try my best not to go into it with really heightened expectations when I do get around to playing it then, but I'm definitely excited to play it based on how you've described it.

@riley It's really hard for me to pick a game of the decade so far but if I absolutely had to pick one I'd probably go with Dark Souls. There are a ton of great games that have come out this decade that I'd consider close runners up but it's honestly difficult for me to imagine any other game that's captivated me the way Dark Souls has.
