@ceruleanspark That may be true but the less attention the better. Loud shots fired can attract enemys from all corners.

@ceruleanspark they would still hopefully attract less attention. A shotgun would be the perfect panic tool.. no need to aim if it's sawed off

@starlight Crossbows are better. Silenced guns aren't any good unless you're a fair distance away or there's background noise, like in a city :/

@starlight Assuming you're in the quiet north, or in a most likely deserted setting, crossbows are far superior. Or regular bows, if you're so inclined. Can make your own ammo, recover shots from targets and they're completely silent.

@communistprime Crossbows would be good. But if your in a fairly deserted place even using a bat you could survive.

@derpyshy I can imagine! Fish have plenty of helpful parts, especially mixed with bones from other vertebrates.

@starlight That's one of the least ideal melee weapons, unless you plan on knocking'em over, which works. A machete would work better, or perhaps an axe if you've got the stamina and strength for it. I'd always take a crossbow though, if possible.

@starlight Great. I live extremely close to pearson international airport. I wonder if centre island would be a good temporary stronghold, it being an island and all.

@communistprime I would take a crossbow too. (if possible) Weapons available to me are bats, Machettes and handheld guns. Axes arent my forte

@starlight We had tactical tomahawks and machetes in Afghanistan, those were pretty neat. I almost got to take one home with me, but someone beat me to it D:

@comradeconventrix A bunch of the guys had K-bars, and a couple carried the tomahawks for the hell of it. The machete was our 'TOC defense weapon', hilariously. We all also got issued some nice Leatherman multitools.
