PSA: Honest engagement is worth it. Irony's fun in doses, but generally has the capacity to do more harm than good. Think critically about the things you interact with, or at least acknowledge them conscientiously.

@yodelerty It's something I actively grapple with, but I don't think it takes a smart person to do so. Because it's not really something you do or don't do, it's kind of an active commitment.

@yodelerty Not just media. People, ideas, societal constructs. I'm not saying to engage with things intellectually, just that being honest with yourself is important.

I'm not coming up with "counters" because at this point there is no right or wrong, there are only varying perspectives. I'm not giving up because you've found some Objective Truth, I'm just choosing not to argue with you about it.
