              @eyepie That's why I've stuck around here. I honestly have no interest whatsoever in MLP these days, but the community here isn't oversaturated so there's a much better capacity for strong discussion.

                @northernnarwhal I usually look to private chats for that sort of thing, like if this site got themselves a Discord server for example.

                  @eyepie Well, lots of people here do talk in various private chats outside of the site, but this site itself is still a good place for general discussion and posting. Your posts won't get swallowed by the void here (barring, of course, that trolls with nothing better to do don't come raiding the site when mods aren't online).

                    @northernnarwhal True, I guess I just find it slightly discomforting that you can see posts without making an account, I'm kind of a privacy freak so I usually don't talk in places like this.

                      @eyepie That's understandable, and definitely something that must be overcome when creating and using an account on any publicly available forum. We tend to bounce through a wide variety of topics here though, so I'm sure at some point you'll find something you can latch onto and feel comfortable contributing to!
