    The final chapter of A Clockwork Orange just made me smile. I am glad however that Kubrick's film ended with chapter 20, seems to fit his style a bit more when it comes to storyline.

      @awl Kubrick definitely had a penchant for being rather unforgiving to lots of his characters.

          @awl Yeah, he tends to have really open endings that utilize wider metaphorical tools of storytelling
