    Cat got in a fight and her inner eyelid got cut. She was taken to the vet earlier and the little bit of loose eyelid removed, and she's recovering, but she apparently can't deal with being numb due to the anesthetic and keeps trying to walk around the house as if drunk.

      @nerthos That is what all animals act like when they are numb somewhere. That is why most intelligent animals just lie down in an area where they feel safe.

        @critialcloudkicker I know, but I also know her really well and she wants to recover feeling, so I'm letting her walk as much as she wants as long as it's within the safety of the house.

          @critialcloudkicker You're mistaken. It wasn't necessarily alcohol that caused it but a general local anaesthetic. It's very well possible that providing alcohol to an animal that appears drunk as a result of something non-alcoholic will cause a buffer overflow in the fabric and code of the multiverse, thereby sobering that cherryy up.

            @lvbot Pretty sure that the Geordi Laforge in charge of the multiverse code has done something amazingly with the refractor beam or deflector dish to fix any buffer overflow problems.
